Change approval

Application for Part 147 approval change

Part 147 change approval must be approved in accordance with 147.A.150 for changes relevant to:
  1. scope of work or terms of approval such as:
  2. organization name
  3. principal place of business
  4. additional aircraft types/groups/series
  5. Accountable Manager
  6. any person laid down in 145.A.30.(b)
  7. facilities.

Approval change for additional aircraft types/groups/series must be in accordance with „Appendix I to Appendices to AMC to Annex III (PART-66)“ or „EASA TCDS“.

Additionally, following applications are required: 

If relevant to approval change, following must be submitted:
  • Copy of contract technical parts with subcontracted organization, in case of subcontracting organization;
  • EASA Form 4 for acceptance of nominated responsible persons;
  • TNA analysis, in case of theoretical training for aircraft type approval;
  • OJT Logbook for practical training for aircraft type approval;
  • documentation used for training;
  • sample exam for every basic training module;
  • sample exam for every ATA chapter, in case of aircraft type training.

Short description of Part 147 change approval process:
  • before application, meeting with CCAA may be arranged to discuss planned change and other organization approval of change relevant issues;
  • relevant applications to CCAA submitted;
  • terms and deadlines of approval process are laid down by Act on administrative procedures;
  • submitted documentation check, e.g. MTOE, responsible person CV, etc., CCAA will contact applicant for clarification, corrections and/or additional documents;
  • interview and written exam with new nominated responsible persons, if applicable;
  • organization oversight after MTOE corrections are done and all others conditions are met, MTOE change approval after oversight;
  • organization must submit acceptable corrective actions plan after the oversight;
  • organization must inform CCAA about corrective action performance;
  • all incompliances must be properly addressed before CCAA approve change;
  • after the change approval organization can start using their privileges defined in scope of work.
