Certificate of airworthiness – CofA
Application for issuance of Certificate of airworthiness (EASA CofA)
Natural or legal person to which aircraft is registered or going to be registered, or their representative, may seek issuance of Certificate of airworthiness in accordance with Subpart H of Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.
Application form AIRW-FRM-001.
In case of aircraft import to Republic of Croatia, contact the CCAA department responsible for Croatian register of civil aircraft.
Transfer or reissue of Certificate of airworthiness in Member States
When changing aircraft ownership in Croatian register of civil aircraft, Certificate of airworthiness is transferred with the aircraft.
When changing aircraft ownership of the aircraft registered in other Member State following is required:
- application for issuance of Certificate of airworthiness AIRW-FRM-001;
- valid original Airworthiness review certificate (ARC) issued in accordance with Part M or Part ML of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014. The ARC is valid until expiry, new registration will be entered and old one will be crossed;
- in case of expired Airworthiness review certificate following is required:
- application for issuance of ARC-a 15a or 15c AIRW-FRM-010 and airworthiness review fee pay confirmation; or
- new issued ARC-a 15c for aircraft in accordance with Part ML of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014.
Import of the aircraft from third country (non-Member State)
When importing aircraft from third country following is required:
- application for issuance of Certificate of airworthiness AIRW-FRM-001;
- application for issuance of ARC-a 15a or 15c AIRW-FRM-010 and airworthiness review fee pay confirmation; or
- new issued ARC-a 15c for aircraft in accordance with Part ML of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014.
