Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation

Organizations managing continuing airworthiness of EASA aircraft are called Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) and they have to be approved according to Part M Subpart G of the Commission Regulation (EC) No 1321/2014 of 26 November 2014 on the continuing airworthiness of aircraft and aeronautical products, parts and appliances, and on the approval of organisations and personnel involved in these tasks (OJ L 362, 17.12.2014.)

If in addition to managing continuing airworthiness, an organization wishes to manage re-validation and extending of Airworthiness review certificate, it has to obtain additional approval according to Part M Subpart I of the afore-mentioned Regulation.

If CAMO wishes to carry out airworthiness reviews and issue Airworthiness review certificate, it has to obtain special approval.
