1/ CROSSING THE BORDER CROSSINGS OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA IS ALLOWED FOR:

A/PERSONS COMING DIRECTLY FROM MEMBER STATES AND/OR REGIONS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AND COUNTRIES OF THE SCHENGEN AREA AND THE SCHENGEN ASSOCIATED STATES WHICH ARE ON THE 'GREEN LIST' OF COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR DISEASE PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ECDC), PROVING AT THE BORDER CROSSING THAT THEY DID NOT STAY IN TRANSIT AREAS IN CASE OF TRANSITING THROUGH OTHER COUNTRIES/REGIONS AND B/THIRD COUNTRY CITIZENS IF THEY ARE:

-HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, HEALTHCARE RESEARCHERS AND STAFF IN CARE FOR THE ELDERLY -CROSS-BORDER WORKERS -TRANSPORT PERSONNEL -DIPLOMATS, INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS STAFF AND PERSONS INVITED FROM INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE PHYSICAL PRESENCE IS NECESSARY FOR THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THOSE ORGANIZATIONS, POLICE AND MILITARY PERSONNEL, HUMANITARIAN WORKERS AND CIVIL DEFENSE SERVICES PERSONNEL IN CARRYING OUT THEIR FUNCTIONS -PASSENGERS IN TRANSIT (WITH THE OBLIGATION TO LEAVE THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA WITHIN 12 HOURS OF ENTRY) -PERSONS TRAVELING FOR EDUCATION -SEAMEN OR PERSONS TRAVELING FOR URGENT PERSONAL/FAMILY REASONS, BUSINESS REASONS OR WHO HAVE OTHER ECONOMIC INTEREST, IF THEY STAY IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS, UPON PRESENTATION OF A NEGATIVE PCR TEST FOR SARS-COV-2 NOT OLDER THAN 48 HOURS OR PCR TESTING FOR SARS-COV-2 UPON ARRIVAL IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA AND SELF-ISOLATION UNTIL A NEGATIVE TEST ARRIVES.

2/ PERSONS REFERD IN POINT 1/B/ COMING FROM COUNTRIES LISTED ON WEB PAGES OF THE CROATIAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC HEALTH MUST PRESENT A NEGATIVE PCR TEST FOR SARS-COV-2 NOT OLDER THAN 48 HOURS AND WILL BE DETERMINED NECESSARY SELF-ISOLATION MEASURE FOR 14 DAYS WHICH MAY BE SHORTER IF THEY HAVE A NEGATIVE PCR TEST FOR SARS-COV-2 AFTER SEVEN DAYS OF SELF-ISOLATION.

3/ CROSSING THE BORDER CROSSINGS OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA WILL BE ALLOWED FOR PERSONS NOT COMING DIRECTLY FROM MEMBER STATES AND/OR REGIONS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AND COUNTRIES OF THE SCHENGEN AREA AND THE SCHENGEN ASSOCIATED STATES WHICH ARE NOT ON THE 'GREEN LIST' OF COUNTRIES OF THE ECDC IF THEY ARE (CONDITIONS CAN BE CHECKED VIA WEBSITE HTTPS://MUP.GOV.HR/UZG-COVID/ENGLISH/286210 OR AT THE BORDER

CROSSING):

-WORKERS OR SELF-EMPLOYED PERSONS PERFORMING KEY TASKS, INCLUDING HEALTH WORKERS, CROSS-BORDER AND SENT WORKERS AND SEASONAL WORKERS AS SPECIFIED IN THE GUIDELINES ON THE FREE MOVEMENT OF WORKERS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, PROVIDED THAT THEY DO NOT STAY IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA OR OUTSIDE THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA FOR MORE THAN

12 HOURS

-PUPILS, STUDENTS AND INTERNS WHO TRAVEL ABROAD EVERY DAY, PROVIDED THAT THEY DO NOT STAY IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA OR OUTSIDE THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS

-SEAMANS AND WORKERS IN THE TRANSPORT SECTOR OR TRANSPORT SERVICE PROVIDERS, INCLUDING DRIVERS OF GOODS VEHICLES TRANSPORTING GOODS FOR USE IN THE TERRITORY OF THE COUNTRY AND THOSE ONLY IN TRANSIT

-DIPLOMATS, INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS STAFF AND PERSONS INVITED FROM INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE PHYSICAL PRESENCE IS NECESSARY FOR THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THOSE ORGANIZATIONS, POLICE AND MILITARY PERSONNEL, HUMANITARIAN WORKERS AND CIVIL DEFENSE SERVICES PERSONNEL IN CARRYING OUT THEIR FUNCTIONS -PERSONS TRAVELING FOR NECESSARY FAMILY OR BUSINESS REASONS, INCLUDING JOURNALISTS IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES -PASSENGERS IN TRANSIT, WITH THE OBLIGATION TO LEAVE THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA WITHIN 12 HOURS OF ENTRY

-PATIENTS TRAVELING FOR NECESSARY HEALTH REASONS

4/ PERSONS COMING FROM MEMBER STATES AND/OR REGIONS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AND COUNTRIES OF THE SCHENGEN AREA AND THE SCHENGEN ASSOCIATED STATES WHICH ARE NOT INCLUDED IN POINT /1 AND /3 AND CITIZENS OF THE MEMBER STATES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AND THE COUNTRIES OF THE SCHENGEN AREA AND THE SCHENGEN ASSOCIATED STATES, AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS, AS WELL AS THE THIRD-COUNTRY NATIONALS WHO ARE LONG-TERM RESIDENTS UNDER COUNCIL DIRECTIVE 2003/109/EC OF 25 NOVEMBER 2003 CONCERNING THE STATUS OF THIRD-COUNTRY NATIONALS WHO ARE LONG-TERM RESIDENTS, AND THE PERSONS DERIVING THEIR RIGHT TO RESIDE FROM OTHER EU DIRECTIVE OR NATIONAL LAW OR WHO HOLD NATIONAL LONG-TERM VISAS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA UPON PRESENTATION OF A NEGATIVE PCR TEST FOR SARS-COV-2 NOT OLDER THAN 48 HOURS OR PCR TESTING FOR SARS-COV-2 UPON ARRIVAL IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA AND SELF-ISOLATION FOR 10 DAYS OR UNTIL A NEGATIVE TEST ARRIVES.

5/ PERSONS REFERRED TO IN POINT /4 ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA WITHOUT PRESENTATION OF A NEGATIVE PCR TEST FOR

SARS-COV-2 IF THEY ARE:

-HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, HEALTHCARE RESEARCHERS AND STAFF IN CARE FOR THE ELDERLY

-CROSS-BORDER WORKERS

-TRANSPORT PERSONNEL

-PERSONS TRAVELING FOR EDUCATION -PERSONS TRAVELING FOR URGENT PERSONAL/FAMILY REASONS, BUSINESS REASONS OR WHO HAVE OTHER ECONOMIC INTEREST, IF THEY STAY IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS.

6/ PERSONS COMING DIRECTLY FROM THE COUNTRIES LISTED IN ANNEX I TO COUNCIL RECOMMENDATION (EU) 2020/912, AS LATEST AMENDED, ARE EXEMPTED FROM PRESENTATION OF A NEGATIVE PCR TEST FOR SARS-COV-2 UPON ARRIVAL IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA IF THEY SHOW NO SIGNS OF ILLNESS AND HAVE NOT BEEN IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH THE INFECTED PERSON, PROVING AT THE BORDER CROSSING THAT THEY DID NOT STAY IN TRANSIT AREAS IN CASE OF TRANSITING THROUGH OTHER COUNTRIES/REGIONS.

7/ PRIOR NOTICE OF ENTRY TO REPUBLIC OF CROATIA IS RECOMMENDED AND IT SHOULD BE DONE THROUGH WEB APPLICATION ON HTTPS://ENTERCROATIA.MUP.HR )

8/ WHEN CROSSING THE BORDER CROSSINGS AND STAYING IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA, ALL PERSONS ARE OBLIGED TO ADHERE TO EPIDEMIOLOGICAL MEASURES AND GENERAL AND SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS OF THE CROATIAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC HEALTH.)
