Commercial Air Transport (CAT)

Commercial air transport with EASA aircraft is permitted to be carried out on the basis of a valid Aircraft Operator Certificate, in accordance with the applicable provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 965/2012.

Commercial air transport with Annex I aircraft is permitted only with an Annex I helicopter and must be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance on Joint aviation authorities requirements and administrative procedures commercial air transport by helicopter.

In order to carry out commercial air transportation, the operator of the aircraft must also have an Operating License. Conditions for Acquisition and Maintenance of Operational Licenses are governed by Regulation (EC) 1008/2008.
