Bodies of the Agency

 Agency Board

The Agency Board consists of five members. Members of the Agency Board are appointed by the Government on the proposal of the minister for a period of four years, with the posibility to be reappointed. President and Deputy President of the Agency Board are appointed by the Government among the members of the Agency Board. Members of the Agency Board shall not be employees of the Agency.
Board of the Agency perform the following tasks:
* Passes the Statute of the Agency and other enactments,
* Approves the annual work program and development of the Agency and supervise its execution,
* Adopts the financial plan and final account of the Agency,
* Invites tenders for the election of directors, appoint and dismiss directors with the consent of the Government,
* Decides on other matters which are set forth in the Air Traffic Act, as well as other matters relating to the management of the Agency.

* Srđan Čop, B.Sc., President
  • Graduated from the  Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Zagreb
  • Working experience in Aircraft overhaul depot as tool designer, head of planning  and development, head of tech diagnostics and overhaul preparation. 
  • Croatia Airlines Techical Sector - Head of engineering, Head of aircraft maintenance preparation,  Head of aircraft maintenance.
  • Ministry of transport - Head of Aviation inspection
  • Croatian civil aviation agency - Assistant Director for Air Navigation Services
  • Taking part in the activities related to the processes of joining to JAA and fulfilling regulatory compliance requirements of chapter 14 of acquis communautaire.
     

* Diana Božić, M.Sc., Vice President
  • Obtained diploma and master deegre at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, air transportation
  • Worked as a Quality Manager in FTO/AMO „Croatian Aviation Training Center“ and Croatian Air Traffic Control Training Center
  • Associated member of IAAPS (International Association of Aviation Personnel Schools)
  • Member of technical committee  for transportation services at Croatian Standards Institute
  • Field of expertise: civil aviation administration, ISO 9001 lead auditor , ISO 17025 auditor , auditor in licencing environment

* Roman Gebauer, B.Sc.., Member
  • He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Zagreb
  • Worked as Technical Director, Vice President Maintenance and Engineering, and Advisor to the President of the Supervisory Board ( Croatia Airlines) . He was technical director at Zagal Airlines and Project Manager for the Fleet Development in Zagal Airlines and Croatia Airlines. He was also responsible for the development of Technical Service and Fleet Maintenance in Croatia Airlines,
  • CAA Certified Quality Inspector

* Josip Čuletić, a retired Air Force general, Member
  • The Lieutenant General of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defense, retired.
  • Worked as Assistant Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces and Commander of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence.
  • He was a member of the committee for drafting strategic documents, defense strategies, National Security Strategy, serving in the Armed Forces he was coordinator of the tasks between the MoD and aviation institutions.
  • Member of the Supervisory Board of the Zagreb Airport and the Croatian Air Traffic Control
  • Professional competence: a military pilot with over 3,000 flying hours, a professional pilot, operations, air traffic management


* Tino Bucak, Professor, Ph.D.E.E., Member
  • Electrical Engineering Master's Degree in Zagreb, PhD from the Faculty of Traffic Sciences
  • Working as an Engineer and Project Manager in the Department of Development RIZ-RO professional electronics, and as Special Advisor to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications,
  • Currently working as an associate professor in Department of Aeronautics, Faculty of Transport Sciences and Velika Gorica Polytechnic,
  • Served as the manager responsible FTO / AMO "Croatian aviation educational center" and head of maintenance of synthetic flight trainer at the Faculty of Transport Sciences,
  • Secretary of the Scientific Committee for Air Transport on Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts,
  • Professional competence: Administration of Civil Aviation, Authorized Instructor for the theoretical training of pilots and air traffic controllers, Licensed Engineer Maintenance FSTD, CNS Auditor



Agency Director

Head of the Agency is Director, who organizes the work and operations of the Agency, represents the Agency and performs other duties set forth in the Statute of the Agency. Director is appointed by the Council of the Agency on the basis of competition, with the consent of the Government for a term of five years, with the possibility to be reappointed. Deputy Director is appointed by the Council for a period of five years, which will replace the Director in case of his absence, and performs other duties set forth in the Statute of the Agency. Director reporting to the Council of the Agency and Ministers.

Additional competences:

He was certified as an instructor for theoretical classes and for EOQ Quality Auditor for ISO 9001 standard. Also he was qualified for the management quality system, and he was a holder of the license ICAO Type II, A & P, type ATR42.

He was qualified for the Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering, authorized inspector Airworthiness and Lead Auditor for Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering (JAR145, JAR OPS 1 DBMS. M, EASA Part 145, EASA Part M).

He is a lecturer of the course "Aircraft Maintenance" in Velika Gorica Polytechnic Coledge and he was instructor for the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.

o Graduated from the Air Force Academy and the Faculty of Traffic Sciences, Major in Aeronautics-Pilot,
o Worked as Commander of the 91.Air Force Base Zagreb, Staff Officer in the Office of COS for the Air Force and Air Defence, Senior adviser for firefighting operations and training in the system of protection and rescue ,
o National Protection and Rescue Directorate Representative at the NATO Air Defence Comitee (NADC) in the two-year term,
o Working experience in the air traffic control and aviation security, knowledge about plans preparation and activities of all participants in the protection and rescue system, medical evacuation and transportation,
o Member of the Airport Security Committees ( Zagreb and Osijek),
o Professional competence: Military pilot, Flight instructor, Professional pilot
